Kati thanda / Lake Eyre trips - An outback (summer) adventure
Kati Thanda / Lake Eyre in summer? Am I joking?
This area can be fantastic in summer. Not for the faint hearted as it will likely be hot. You will have the place to yourself and if we score a thunderstorm there might be water laying for a short period of time. The Diamantina River feeds the Lake and it is already flowing (ok just a bit but it starts from a small flow) Coober Pedy has had its biggest rainfall in years early in February.
Why not do something exciting and experience the real outback in its natural state...If its seriously hot - like 45-48' we'll delay our departure!
